Website Renovation!

A Big Shout Out to our friend, Liz Johnson!

Liz Johnson

Lots of you may know Liz Johnson, she is a Maine Sea Kayak Guide and Instructor, she organised the Greenland Gathering on Peaks Island in 2019 that was a huge success.  She has worked as a guide and instructor for Maine Island Kayak Co.  But did you know that besides kayaking and other outdoor interests she is a website designer?

She and I were skiing one day over the winter and I mentioned that I would love to be able to teach rolling and skinny stick strokes again, after the pandemic subsides.  She said that she wanted to teach this summer as well, and one thing led to another, so we decided to team up and teach a few sessions together in the upcoming kayak season.  If you want to join us check out the itinerary.

On another ski day I was lamenting on how Turner and I needed to update our Kayak Ways LLC website.  She reminded me that she has upgraded several other folks websites and she would be happy to tackle ours AND to coach us on how to maintain it.  She is almost local too, living only 60 minute drive and one ferry ride away, the Maine version of local!

That is exactly what she has been up to these last couple of weeks and we are happy to announce that it is launched!  Thanks so much Liz for all of your hard work!  You had great patience as you showed us how to use a widget, edit rows, create a Foogallery, and a million other things, etc.  Just imagine what could have happened if we got more snow?
