UPDATE! 2008-2009 Pool Sessions in Wallingford, Connecticut We are once again offering pool sessions to the kayaking community in Connecticut. We'll begin in early November, every Sunday that the pool is open, and go through to Spring 2009. November 2, 9, 16, 23 December 7, 14 & 21 Options Instruction - 2 to 1 maximum ratio. Includes one hour of instruction, use of a low-volume rolling kayak, Greenland paddle and norsaq, and a tuiliq for the hour, or your own kayak and equipment, plus the additional pool time that day. $100, CONNYAK and QajaqUSA members $80 8:45, 9:50, 10:55 and 12:00 slots are available for hour long lessons. You may, of course, sign up for a two hour slot if you are game! No instruction - CONNYAK and QajaqUSA members, $20, others, $25. The pool is open from 8:30 to 1 PM Sheehan High is located at 142 Hope Hill Road. Directions, from anywhere, at this link. For access to the pool parking, just follow the cars with kayak racks ;-).
