Side Plank Pose and Variations

Side Plank uses your own body weight as resistance to tone and strengthen your arms and the front and back of the torso.

There are lots of Plank variations, this one is shown with the top leg lifted, but legs can be placed stacked on one another, or an easier version with feet in front of each other or easier still, with the bottom knee down. If wrists are problematic, you can be on the elbow instead. For a tougher version the top hand holds onto the top big toe!
